What is it?

A standard printer that does not have any printer cartridges, it uses solid blocks of ink, like crayons, and leaves no waste behind.

What is the quality like?

Spectacular! Brilliant, vibrant prints, graphic designers have been predominantely using it, but it is now as affordable as a comparable laser printer.

It is very easy to use! and no mess / spillage because the ink is solid.

What are the health benefits?

The ink is vegetable / soy based and safe to handle. Kids can use the blocks of ink as crayons however this is not recommended because the price of the blocks is similar to a conventional printer cartridge which you know costs more than a crayon. It may also reduce headaches because it does not produce any nasty smells, this has not been independently verified.

What are the environmental benefits?

Spectacular! It produces 90% less waste than a typical colour laser printer, less energy and resources are used during manufacture due to its simplicity and there is no waste or recycling needed afterwards. It does use more power (watts) than a standard printer on standby however this is offset by the energy saved in its life cycle and can be further offset by renewable energy.
